IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For forest strolls: We currently have six alpacas and one llama that can be used for strolls, so 7 is the max if everyone wants their own companion. Larger groups (up to 14 individuals) can be accommodated by rotating companions at the half way point.

For alpaca encounters: There is no limit to the size of the group.

Both options include an introduction to the alpaca world, the chance to capture selfies, and sharing treats with the alpacas. For the encounter everything takes place at the barn, with or without a fence separating you from the alpacas, depending on your preference. For the forest stroll, the alpacas are fitted with a halter, and you lead them down a trail. This gives you the chance to capture those perfect forest photos for Instagram.

The short trail is 0.25 miles round trip, and the long trail is 0.8 miles round trip. There is very little elevation change.

We are able to modify the alpaca encounter and forest stroll to accommodate your specific needs. Wheel chair use is permitted as long as the visitor is comfortable with occasional roots, rocks, etc... on the trail.

Yes, you can reschedule due to weather with at least 24 hours notice. We typically run the alpaca strolls in all types of weather, including rain, snow, wind, heat, etc... If you would like to reschedule, please reach out.

Visitors have access to a porta potty while visiting the farm.

Yes, when you arrive on the farm, you will be given a liability waiver and release of claims to read and sign.

Yes, though it's typically only toward another alpaca. We take precautions to mitigate the chance of visitors getting spit on in the cross fire.
